While out shooting an Osprey nest I had this Kingbird put on quite a show for me. I spotted the first Kingbird perched with some sort of green insect in it mouth but after looking at my images more closely I saw that it was a Praying Mantis that it had. This went on for 20 minutes or so with the Kingbird catching and either eating the Praying Mantis or flying off with it apparently to its nest.

Great work on the W Kingbird, Louie. I really like getting the prey. It looks like in the last that it saying its last prayer.
