That's such a lovely shot even without the comet. Neowise just gives it that extra flare.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging comments! I have sold a few prints of it already via people contacting me through FB and Instagram. I've done a lot of astro-scapes before and kind of blown away by how much people are excited about the comet as a subject.

If you haven't gotten out there, it should still be visible for a few more days!

Honestly, I'm surprised by the lack of really good shots of Neowise. Maybe fewer people are able or willing to travel? Not sure of the exact reason, but I've seen very few well executed shots of the comet. Your shot stands well enough on its own, please don't think I'm being critical in any way. But, there simply aren't many shots like it.

Very nice shot, is it a composite?

I think part of it was people not willing to travel, and part of it was people missing the best time to shoot the comet entirely. When it was visible before sunrise, it was a little faint due to the sunlight itself, and the best time was the first few days it was visible after sunset. After that the comet started to get dim really fast, and that's when everyone started going out to shoot it, when it was already getting late.

Tracked and stacked HDR shot all from one location and focal length. Wouldn't call it a composite.

(I understand composites to be two images from different tripod locations and times pasted together, which this isn't.)
