p.1 #1 · How hard can it be?

I took a picture rather similar to this five years ago. Unfortunately there was a distracting cloud that sort of ruined the photo.

Ever since then I have tried to take the picture without any distractions. Unfortunately either the weather, flowers or noctilucent clouds haven't been as I would have liked.

Last week was different. The weather was perfect as well was the noctilucent clouds. There were a few blooming flowers left, so I was able to take the following picture.

I was waist deep in the lake. The picture is made of 15 frames, focus stacked. Then I manually added some four frames on the stacked image, because there were a few blurred areas. Something you should expect when you are dealing with water. It moves, although very gently, but enough to move leaves and flowers ever so slightly. Not a problem, if the shutter speed wasn't over a second (shot at 2am)

But, in quite happy with the end result.

Awesome capture...especially like the cloud reflections in the water.

That is really beautiful, almost other worldly. I do like the clouds a lot, and the reflection on the windows.

May I ask what tool you use for stacking? I am just embarking on that technique.

Thank you!

I used helicon focus stacker. Gears were Fuji X-T3 and 10-24 @10mm.
