I enjoy the PP and colors. Location seems great for a shoot as such. I'm not sure why she isn't looking at you. Maybe it was multiple photographers on location. I want to see more eyes personally, less candid, especially in this option. Also, why the tilt? Just curious. Could go for a "flat" vehicle.

Regardless, nice shot I do say.

I like the tension of the tilt, but agree that her looking strait forward (with a firm grip on the wheel) would have been much more powerful.

Thanks 007Boarder... Wonderful location with over 150 schoolbuses, cars, trucks scattered around the 5 acre junkyard. In the past artist have been invited to come up and paint their murals on the old cars, RV's and buses. Liked that she was looking away, towards the reflector that was bouncing sun back into her face. Camera was actually level but the truck was on a side of a small hillside, hence the tilt.

Thanks gheller, Will probably make our way back to the location once things open up again. May try a straight on but I liked her lookin away. Had fun processing this one.

A very enjoyable image and yes, the processing is excellent, John! A mix of her looking at you and a few of her looking at different direction would have made a great set, I would say.

I like the processing, and I like her looking away and her relaxed hands.

A case could be made that the main subject is the truck though since you show so much of the front of it. I cannot view the entire photo on my monitor without scrolling just a tad. Therefore, as it shows on my monitor, cropping just a little off the bottom to where only about half of the front bumper shows puts more emphasis on the girl.

But that's purely subjective.

I kind of like the pose. It's different and unexpected. Nice expression and the wrist over the steering wheel is a great touch. To me, she's captivated by something camera right and I'm wondering what she's looking at. It all works.

I looked at various crops before settling on the one presented. A tighter crop so only about 1/2 bumper showing felt to tight and cramped in my view.
