Thanks Dave.

The first shot in the sequence RWB is perched on a bulrush, that shot is in focus. I waited for about 5 minutes hand-holding 1DX III and 600 III for take off. The 8 shots posted are in focus... there are 3 more shots at the end when the RBW is closing up its wings after the landing are in focus for a total of 12 frames.
All taken through the OVF, using Expand AF Area: Surround (8 points).
Probably would have been easier hand-holding the Sony a9 + 600mm...
