I uninstalled and re-installed the original software file named "smartframepc-1521470987946.exe" from circa 2018 and now "Add from device" works fine again on Windows11.

I've revived this old thread to say that my 35" Memento Smart Frame still works (fingers crossed). I upgraded the firmware to 6.02 a few years ago and can still use the Memento Smart Frame software (on Windows 10 PC) to upload my photos, etc. I miss being able to upload photos directly from my iPhone or iPad.

Crap, now my memento frame is no longer powering up.
The power supply brick that plugs into the wall socket has a little green light that is blinking.
Does anyone know if this means the power supply is bad?
Does your original power plug also have a green light that blinks under normal working condition?

Good idea, EB-1! The voltmeter read 3.5V when it should be 24, so definitely a bad power supply. Keeping fingers crossed that I can get a few more years out of the frame with the new power supply. Will make sure it's on a surge protector as well. Thanks!

Hi! Here's the Memento Smart Frame Mac App v6. I don't have the installer anymore, but I'm pretty sure this will work if you unzip and run the application.
I have a 2020 MacBook Air with the M1 chip. I used the same exact app on my old Intel MacBook Air, so hopefully it just works.

As an aside, I just picked up a 25" model that is running v5.03. I was able to go through the initial setup process via the Mac app, but the background update process is failing (of course). I saw earlier links to a 25" frame update thread, but that discussion board is gone.
Does anyone have the 25" frame update for v6.02? Much appreciated!
I can confirm that I successfully updated my 25" frame from v5.03 to v6.02 using this file and following the 35" frame update instructions. Note that there's nothing special about the "update.txt" file, it is just an empty text file that you create in the root directory of your USB flash drive.

I just tried to reboot my 25 frame and it seems not to see the USB drive. is there a trick to having the unit see the drive. I thought I followed the instructions.

@Jake_SF I downloaded the zip file to update the memento smartframe 35" firmware for windows so that I can connect to the frame to set it up after a power outage. It is does not seem to work. I noticed that there is no "update.txt" file as described in the instructions; is that what is needed? Thanks.

I revived 3 frames (25") yesterday. It turns out that I needed to use an usb of 2 GB. Previously I tried 4 and 8 and neither worked for the firmware update. Once I used the small sized USB, it got updated in like 30 seconds to 6.

yes, just create an empty file with that name. I used my own server to create it and then downloaded to the USB (I did not try copying works or not). use a small usb (2 gb), formatted to fat32
