This sequence was taken this morning with my D500 and the 500PF.
The action is beginning to slow a bit as our mild winter continues.
Had the pleasure of shooting with two fellow FM photographers from the St. Louis area all morning.

Thanks Aaron. The lens is absolutely amazing. Much easier to use than my Sigma Sport. When the action picked up I was able to change targets quickly and get shots that would have been difficult with a larger lens. I hope to have one of my own soon...
I do believe that you have found your next lens. That 500 is sweet.

Thanks a lot Larry. I am in the process of selling off a few things to make it possible. The len's size was liberating, and the sharpest I have ever used.

Thank you Gene. The size of the lens is the first thing everyone notices about the lens...and then the sharpness. Everyone (me included) that was shooting with the big zooms was blown away by the sharpness.
Dang, you're making me want one now. I've been straining my brain pondering switching to mirrorless, going to Sony, now possibly Canon, or staying with what I've got and just upgrading lenses. You're making my decision harder you know. lol
Did you get a tripod and gimbal head yet?

Hey Ernie-
My point in renting the lens was to silence some doubts I was having with my photography. Like you I was questioning my results, watching everyone switch to Sony. Well I am pleased with the results from the D500/PF combo and plan to buy the 500PF and add a Z6 after that.
