Danielle,

I can't give you exact miles, but I was about 25 minutes east of Great Falls, MT heading east on whatever the 2 lane highway is that heads east. I am at work now and can't look it up.

Thanks for looking,

Ernie

Beautiful!! I have to tell you, Ernie, I took at a look at your post and knew I'd seen this view - you confirmed it. Thanks for the memory! Just to mention: for those of you who have never been to Montana, 25 minutes east is equivalent to about 100 miles!

Lots of great pictures in this topic. Here is my try. I don't whether this is my best landscape picture but i like it a lot. It was taken after christmas on a very foggy day. This picture is straight from the camera and no postprocessing has been applied (except resizing)

I must say everyone, I am very impressed. I have been lurking on these forums for quite some time and I am impressed every single day I come to the FM forums. Looking over the best of 2004, I am amazed. I am extremely new to photographyand I find everyone here inspiration. I just can't believe the quality I see posted here. I will humbly post some of my "best" landscapes of 2004.
