Nice shot. The environment of Horseshoe Bend has changed recently. The City of Page has built a paved parking lot on the spot where you used to park. The city is making money and really bringing in the people. There were over 100 people there when we went this year. They just kept coming. New flatter trails under construction will further increase the crowd at the rim.
It is still a nice place for a great shot but we'll all have to work harder to get something "special."
I was there November 2018 and it was an epic location for sure. I would attest to the other member mentioning it being "greener". We all take liberties during the edit process to tweak a pic to our liking. That pic was very well done for sure!!
I am not a paid member to share mine, have to see IG. Sorry
Great shot for an overcast day. Heard that the city is planning to erect fences around the rim. May be we will loose one more great photo spot like the antelope canyons. Heard that we can’t take tripods to the Antelope canyons anymore. Makes me very sad as I will never own a light beam shot ever
That's quite a different image of the horseshoe bend - the overcast sky [and really well-exposed one at that] and the grass [moss?] seem to be quite the welcome change!
Not sure if the horizon could be straighter or if its just the kind of setting in there.
Fantastic work nonetheless, keep up the good work.
