Aperture series, @ f/2, f/2.8 and f/4. Shot handheld, light was changing fast. Pretty much minimum focusing distance. To my eyes even at f/4 the bokeh balls keep enough of the round shape to be pleasant and not too obtrusive.
This was my attempt at some action using zone focus, yep not the best, should of being at f16 in that light to have more keepers. And I don't like the steel blue sky either, being a couple of years since using a polariser, my bad.
Wow! This one is for the wall and a big one too. There are so much complimentary colors and tonal ranges in this image. Captured mood is sublime. Very very nicely done.
Thank you,I was lucky to have a thunderstorm. Lightning in the thick clouds, the clouds were dyed lotus colors, and the clouds on the back ripped a hole, and illuminated the stones through some sunset.

Seeing quite significant CA as shown in the crop below (from phillipreeve.net) makes me even more hesitant. Maybe I should get the 65mm instead (which is currently cheaper), but I am pretty sure it will stay at home most of the time due to the size and weight. There is no such thing as a perfect lens... always compromizes.

Does someone have both, the 50/2 AL and 50/1.2? I wonder if the LoCA correction is much better on the AL at F2... the samples on phillipreeve.net suggest they could perform comparably.
