The 24/1.4 and 21/1.4 design is such that the focusing ring and aperture ring are too close together and too similar in feel, especially if wearing gloves. I bought a Leica Goodies Steer for the focusing ring and it helped tremendously.

Thank you. I really like this lens on both the M10 and seems to adapt fairly well to the A7rIV. But, looks like it was not a very popular lens as Leica recently discontinued.

Noted, and at a reasonable price too even though it has "Leica" in the product name! So far I'm ok with the focus ring design on this lens, but I can see probably not so good when wearing traditional gloves.
