Dave Nitsche was a long time Member here at Fred Miranda. He passed away earlier this year at the age of 56. I only stumbled upon his obituary here recently when I decided to look him up and send a short note. Dave joined Fred Miranda back in 2002 the same year that I joined. It was an exciting time when digital photography was at the dawn of taking over film photography.
I only knew Dave through the Weekly Assignments here at FM. We often swapped comments and enjoyed posting images. He was very inspiring and had a passion for his art and photography. His images will live on as well as my memory of him. I believe that Dave worked as an Art Designer. His conceptual photography has been published in over 100 magazines world wide. If you have a brief moment..... do a Google search on Dave Nitsche Conceptual Photography and take a look at his photos. Perhaps you will get a spark of inspiration as have I from Dave.
Rest in Peace Dave.... You will be Missed by Me and Many Others. Your Friend, John
Like you, I remember David Nitsche's photographs here on FM over the years, and news that he has passed away is truly saddening. He was a skilled photographer, and my photography is better for having been able to study his work here on FM.
