My aging eyes struggle in bright sunlight to check focus on the LCD. Anyone using a Hoodman Loupe or other loupe to check focus. Thanks!
I know what you mean. I struggle with the same problem. And I do also own a Hoodman but I cannot see how I can adapt it to my Nikon D850. This is because I most often use the LCD in its flipped out position ........ away from the camera body.
For video I like to hold the dslr/lens below my head, so I am looking downward. I always wear a wide-brimmed straw hat when shooting, and this greatly diminishes glare from the sky. Currently, for magnification I have been using higher magnification reading glasses. I would be open to other ways but I have not discovered/visualized it yet. None of those brackets will work with that LCD flipped outward, away from the camera body.
