Get it, get it... It's practical as a backup cam. Say you're climbing a mountain and your SL2 breaks (and you don't have your S1 because why would you it's huge and you don't need two huge cameras for a hike)... Bam out comes the FP from the pocket and saves the day.
Also it's fun to attach a CronSL to walk around town with.
It would appear to be possible for an EVF to be designed to plug into the HDMI port on the side, and screw into the threaded socket. It would only lengthen the camera by about 25mm? Maybe Sigma has plans along those lines?

Yeah I sent them an email saying I think they should make a very small EVF that runs along the side of the camera (think a metal bar that houses a wire) and the EVF is a small box that sits on top of the camera. BUT I doubt they'll listen.
