I've been a Leica shooter since 1980 when I bought two M3s and some lenses. Since then I've owned every version of the Leica M made. I consider the MM1 to be the best camera I've ever owned and plan to always have at least one in my bag. The CCD sensor has a particular magic that produces very film-like images. It's unlikely we'll see CCD sensors in future cameras due to the extreme cost difference between them and the CMOS.
