From our mountain house where we'll retire to in 308 days (13 hours, 29 min's).
It's a rain forest up here (temperate) and light is like a needle in a haystack

But this Junco came out of the shadows briefly.
Way too fast of a shutter speed yielding an ISO 5000 but I hate motion blur
way more than noise and even with all the steady-shot in the world I'm just a shaky
old guy.
I used the venerable Canon 400DOii for this outing.
