"Double M"...Darn this is sharp! I am totally blown away by the sharpness of this camera with any lens!
WoW!!!

OK Dan my fan I have to call you out on this one.
It is sharp for its era.
It is not as sharp as the 100400, 200600, 500PF, 400DOii (ones I have to compare to), but
it is off the shelf with new life and I like to use it
As I await the X-T4 I was looking at macro options and found another forgotten beast on the shelves. A Tamron 180mm macro for EOS. I goofed around with it today on the Riv and the focus is super fast thanks to the MC-11. How this will translate to the X-T4 via Fringer who knows but its a good thing to rediscover and blow dust off

Shirley...FANTASTIC!!!!!!! It brings a smile to what started out as a "bad day" for me.

Thanks, Dan. I plan to post a few photos from that trip today or tomorrow. The polar bear families seem to be an upper in these down days of the Covid-19 virus.
Please make sure I see it. There is no greater emotion than to see the tenderness of a mother and her children. Polar bears are exceptional! Wild cats also..elephants...I could go on!!
Thanks for making what started as a terrible day..more tolerable!!
Dan
By the time it was dark enough last night, the moon was too high in the sky to use my Wimberly, so I went hand held. This was using my Canon 500+1.4 mounted on the MC-11. A crazy big and heavy rig to hold almost straight up Still with that lens and the res on the R4, I'm pleased with the results. April Moon by lennycarl08, on Flickr

I posted photos in a gallery in Nature and Wildlife, Polar Bear Cubs and Moms, with a few more photos of the bears and a link to my website. BTW, on my website I have photos from my Africa trips, many of which do have young animals with their moms. Hope you enjoy the other polar bear photos.

Dan, wow, you spent an hour and half looking at my website? Thanks so much for looking. We've been so lucky to be able to travel as much as we have since we retired. And it is the photography that determines where we go in the world. I will be sure to add you to my list for new postings, assuming of course that we get to travel again sometime soon. Thanks for your kind comments. Just send me a pm with your email address.
