Such a beautiful image Joshua. I love how his feathers are all fluffed out.
Thank you very much, Kathy! This female falcon just landed back on that ledge where she was perching previously. It rained pretty hard and she took off to seek for shelter somewhere. I didn’t post this image on this thread but somewhere else. This is the same falcon when she left the ledge earlier... Those larger specks are rain drops and the smaller and sharper specks are tiny beads of water that were stripped from the falcon’s feather. If enlarged, one can spot tiny beads of water, especially on the falcon’s head.

Unbelievably clear and sharp to be in the rain. I love these falcon shots!!
International Space Station taken from the top of our condo and up-resolutioned by a factor of 10 in Photoshop.
My daughter mentioned that it was flying over last night, so we took her, her sister and all of their children up to watch it.
Wasn't expecting as good results as this! Wish I had put the A7Riv back on before taking the shot
Taken from this morning during my walk... . This fox came out and just for a second or two it seemed to enjoy the sun. It quickly moved on shortly after that.
BTW, this female fox is a wild animal and not a pet. By the look at her, she has a fairly hard life. This fox mother has 2 pups she has to take care for. A shooting buddy of mine was able to photograph one of the cubs. While the mother goes out and hunts, the cubs stay mostly in the den and barely venture out. So, you either have to be lucky or you spend a lot of time there.
Finally, I saw the fox puppies for the very first time yesterday. The distance to the den is quite far and I kept a respectable distance from them. In addition to the 1.4X TC, I ended up cropping this image quite a bit.
They are so cute and were quite playful yesterday. It seems the litter has 3 puppies. Here, the two brave ones are encouraging the last puppy to come out of the den...and yes, the last puppy, the smallest one did come out and join the siblings.
A RTH was circling lazily overhead and a raven climbed to harass him. After a bit the RTH caught an updraft and gained elevation on the raven, and the tables were turned. There was a bit of heat shimmer and a lot of distance so the quality is so-so, but I thought it might still be of interest.
