a9/200-600, shot wide open, 1/2500th on the surfing pic... both shots taken on the same day, same location, during a santa ana type of downslope wind event.

Spent the day with Mark Smith (youtube Osprey guy). Great experience. This is a quick random pass through 4000+ images, I'll put a nature and wildlife forum post together when I get back to Buffalo and sort through them for real.

Beautiful shots from Sebastien inlet, great place to be for Osprey and Pelican shots, I spent couple of days there during Christmas vacation and it was a blast. Looking forward to see more images.
