Buffalow I really like both your Cardinals. The first really shows all the colors and tones this bierd has. I tried for anything today but it was high noon and nothing wanted to participate.

I think you have a point there Geoff, how about a molting Indigo instead? I think Bunting though is correct thank you

Wild Dall Sheep in Kluane Nat. Park.
I remember at a rest area seeing some photographers with huge tripods and the big whites attached.
I of course asked what are you shooting. They pointed to a hill about a mile away and said 'see the little white dots' ha! I was tempted to show them my Dall, but I realize most are not willing to walk 3/4 to 1 mile up hill (and it is steep there) to see a sheep closer.
The good thing about the area of the Kluane we were in was little walking in the woods. Why important? Because in the woods the bears can be hidden in the bramble. Poof spooked two cubs while hiking later in the trip and she didn't see them until she was less than 20 feet away. In the hiking we did in the Kluane you would see open space for 3 miles so no worries about freaking out a griz.

Douglas thanks. I was trying to follow in portrait orientation =not a good idea.
I saw him from a distance, took a while to walk close enough...he never flew.
So I turned the came to frame a portrait shot and he flew haha! No time to switch
orientation in my hand so followed for this nab in the wrong orientation
But it was my only eagle in the Yukon so I was pleased with that.
