Here is the view near the nest of one of the two peregrine falcon families I had been photographing between April and August of this year. One of the parents, I believe, it was the mother, perched on the roof of the lighthouse waiting for the mate to bring home some food.
The next image is of one of the chicks that barely could fly. It hopped short distances most of the time, at least that day. It did fly for real the following day though.
