Funny you should mention this. I've actually had this thing in my backpack attached to the A9 along with either my Fuji rig or the R3 with a short tele for all of my bike rides this week (6 of the last 7 evenings for 15-20 miles each). Not to mention, also in the bag was my concealed carry, fairly hefty wallet, a knife, extra batteries/keys/random items.
I can't speak for anyone else, but this lens has not bothered me anymore than the other 35/1.4 combos I have used (pretty much all of them) with regard to size/weight.
Personally, once it gets passed the threshold of where I would consider something compact/lightweight (my X-T30 with f/2 lenses), it's all generally in the same category to me until we get to the telephoto stuff. The caveat though is that I'm also not a little guy, so definitely a big YMMV here.

I was just poking fun at the haters that recommended to avoid buying the lens because of its weight and size even though it's smaller than dozens of other lenses that are hand held by professionals all day long.
Some of the images in this thread are magic, keep them coming.

I posted to the "wrong" 35 1.2 thread. I took this one yesterday and processed it to be a little more dreamy looking...I think . I used highlight metering +1.3 EV and a Breakthrough X4 CPL.
