Desperately needing some support help from my Rawfolio guys as my website was taken down and the put back by Godaddy but on a different server and now the design is messed up and none of my galleries are working even though I see my images in the WPAdmin area. Emailed Rawfolio this morning hadn't heard back went to their website and nothing but a fatal error. Was curious if anyone had heard from them?
Also if their gone and I can't get godaddy to fix this, guy this morning said it had to be with the theme...anyone versed in wordpress willing to take a stab at repair? I know a bit but not enough to dive into something like this'
Oh shoot. That's no good. I've a Rawfolio site and it seems to be working fine. Tim Debo has designed my site and did a great job but her can be slow to the hip to get back to emails though...
Yeah, He doesn't seem to be responding to any of my emails either. I'v e been really happy with my site but looking like I may have to redesign something. My issues seem to be possibly with permalinks tot he galleries. All the static part of my page works. However even when I attempt to update a page it give me an error and won't update
I'm thinking If I paid godaddy to restore my site it should at least update properly.
Just been to their website and I get error messages - so yes it isn't looking good.
I've got two Rawfolio sites which are working just fine, but I'll be in trouble in a year or two when my hosting company changes the PHP version and my templates don't work so well.
Time to look for an alternative methinks - before the panic kicks in. Damm... I've just spent an age doing oodles of Alt Text additions to images to help with my SEO. This is not going to be fun.
Yikes...I was just literally thinking about how my site is going to be 4 years old this year and wondering if I should update it. I guess this kind of pushes my answer... They were pretty awesome when they were up and running but sucks if they are actually out of the business.
Tim (Mr Rawfolio) has been working full-time for Magmod the last few years, so I think he let Rawfolio die a natural death. I still get some support from him here and there, but usually reach out directly. I'd imagine that if you need something from here on out, it might be best to go another direction.
Thanks all, Back for an update. First, I hate to hear Tim has let Rawfolio go. They were awesome to work with. I did get my site back up and going. I know many people don't care for GoDaddy but I have always had really good luck with them and great uptime. I did end up calling them back and happened to get a tech an older gentleman that had been with them over 10 years. He went above and beyond helping me fix my issue and got everything restored and working for me! So for now all is well!
