Not sure what variety this one is, but it's one of several featured at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens. I highly recommend visiting this place if you are ever in the Los Angeles/Pasadena area.
Nice restraint on not overs saturating the pink/magenta hues. The comp is very nice Greg with the additional area you left at top letting those few flowers reach up Nice arch in the stem, nice placement, great solid shot and very pleasing to my eyes

Thanks Karl. It's always a balancing act to coax out the details that the sensor and lens captures while retaining a natural presentation. I guess that's the balance between a journalistic view and artistic license
