Taken with my Panasonic S5 on a visit to Cragside Estate in Northumberland.
It was the home of William Armstrong, 1st Baron Armstrong, founder of the Armstrong Whitworth armaments firm. He was an industrial magnate, scientist, philanthropist and inventor of the hydraulic crane and the Armstrong gun, Armstrong also displayed his inventiveness in making Cragside the first house in the world to be lit using hydroelectric power.
Blackburn is the stream leading from the mainly drained Blackburn Lake since Blackburn dam was breached in the flood of 1927.
Bought the big boy Panasonic 50 1.4, came today after sunset. It is insanely sharp and the rendering is fantastic. Cant wait till tomorrow to fully test it out.

I've had the camera for a couple of weeks now and WOW does it grow on me, I keep being surprised at the detail ever time I look at a file. Of course, it's much thanks to wonderful lenses for the system.
Some photographs of our excursion to Seaton Delaval Hall and Seaton Sluice.
The Delaval family had owned the estate since the time of the Norman conquest, but is now in the hands of the National Trust.
I was along side the tracks when this BNSF train came by. This image is also a bit of a test...a small crop was my only adjustment before dropping into PS to try the sky replacement tool. The bald blue sky was boring. This was a 1-click fully automatic process. Not something I will use often but was quite surprised with the result
I've been going through my Lightroom catalog looking at images I've shot over the past couple of years while I wait to hear from Fujifilm whether or not they can repair my GFX. Among other things, I really liked the colour palette of the S1 and S1R. If B&H were to have another one of those 50% off deals, I might be tempted to buy back into the system...
