It is quite soft WO, but might be slightly sharper than 80lux at most portrait distance. I like it and feel that lens like 58G is only shine at certain condition for certain type of images, sometimes you will feel bored a little as the signature is quite dominate.
However, I can always stop it down and it still offer better bokeh than most competitors which are for sure sharper than it at f1.4. It is a special lens. I applaud Nikon doing this.
Yes, it is fine on SL2 if you don't mind manual focus a AF glass
anyone have any experience with Laowa lenses? They just released a range of lenses for L-mount...Im pretty interested in the 100mm 2.8 Macro for my S1R!
