Both images below are my first attempts at using a star tracker. I used a Star Adventure Mini that I received last week. This was my first outing to learn how to use it. Mainly how to polar align using a scope.
The images turned out as well as I was hoping for using a tracker. The app worked without a hiccup once it was connected. I'm amazed at how technology has simplified acquiring these types of images.
I was equally impressed with how well these F4 lenses performed since F4 really isn't that fast for astro pics. I built my kit around travel so I don't currently have anything faster than F4.
In a few weeks I'm headed to a Bortle 2 location to get more practice.
Neowise near Cooper Lake, TX. Bortle 4.5 sky. Nikon Z 24-70 F4 @ F4, ISO 1600, 25s x 22
Milky Way near Cooper Lake, TX. Bortle 4.5 sky. Nikon Z 14-30mm @ F4 15mm ISO 800, 120s x 10
I also have the Nikon 85 1.8s and that is not far behind at all image quality wise. If anyone wants me to do a comparison I can probably do some totally unscientific comparison shots in another thread
My hiking setup on the trip was Z6 + 14-30 + 24-70 2.8S + 70-200 f4. I used 24-70 90% of the time. Almost glad 70-200 2.8S didn't ship in time since we day hiked close to 180km in two weeks.
The sun rises over Frenchman Bay from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Z6 with 24-70mm F4s
Twenty years ago you would be lucky to meet a handful of people up here at sunrise, which is pretty early in the summer, but with the advent of Instagram the parking lot was full.

Nice shots
I know - I must have faked the exif.
Thanks! More to come - these are just from the drive through southern BC. Hiking was the main focus of this adventure = more photos to come as I process them.
