Magnificent dog, as soon as he saw the Plena he started to pose.
Sometimes it's good to have the Z6 with you when buying freshly fried marinated surimi prawns.
He was waiting for his master at the fish market this morning.
Thought I'd make a post here with a very under-rated lens that does not see a lot of activity.
I spent a week in Iceland... trip number three... to do some cold weather photography. My prior trips were in June and August, so I thought it might be great to see the country on the edge of winter (November-December). While this is my third trip, it's not my last as I'd now like to visit the North in February or March and get a taste of all four of Icelands seasons.
Anyway, I thought the 24-120 f4 would see the most action, but in the end, the Nikon 17-28mm f2.8 did about 55% of the work. While I would have benefited from a 14-15mm perspective at times, I also needed the f/2.8 aperture. The 14-30 has a telescoping structure, and this would have been an issue in sandstorms, and the 14-24 f2.8 is too large of an investment for the amount of use it would see by me. As such, the 17-28mm lens with internal zoom seemed like the perfect compromise lens.
I'll let the pictures say the rest...

Nicely done Bruce!
I'm glad you influenced me into buying that lens. A lot of lens for $1K!
