I just purchased one from Dell.... yes Dell. They showed up as having them on a google search.
Estimated delivery was 8/13 and shipping was free. A person on chat confirmed they are "in stock" and confirmed that delivery date of 8/13 too. Fingers crossed that was the truth.

Yes, within the first 5 minutes or so on the day it became available for pre-order. Please also note that I did pass on my order number to the Sony Pro Imaging group. I am not sure how much consideration B&H gives to that. According to Sony, it is done more at the discretion of the individual retailers.

It's hard to not get caught up in the excitement, seeing all of you acting like kids on Christmas! Life on hold while you refresh the tracking page every few minutes, listening for that truck outside Even though I'm not a Sony shooter, the 200-600 looks awesome, I'm eagerly awaiting all of your early reviews w/ photographs! Enjoy!

I must have checked the UPS tracking 5 or 6 times in the last 12 hours, did it get picked up at the store? Did it arrive at my local UPS hub? Did it get loaded on the delivery truck? Yes, it did

Robert, perhaps I should amend that to say "Even though I'm not a Sony shooter yet" The pattern is full at the moment though, shooting w/ Canon, Nikon and Fuji!

Oh, you have to make sure you're right there to take the package directly from the driver's hands, to ensure they don't mistreat it one last time. Give a nervous laugh and wave, say "thank you, drive safe!", act cool until they are out of sight, and then excitedly go make a shaky cell phone "Sony 200-600 unpacking" video
