Snowy rocks in the fog this January
Sunrise was a total whiteout and the day continued with little visibility, but at times offered windows of opportunities with quickly moving fog. And then the opportunity was over after barely minutes, and all was white and quiet again.
Patience paid off and throughout the day we had different unique opportunities with snow, fog and sun.
what crazy awesome pictures, Rob. the first one knocked my socks off with the amazing sky in the BG and the clean sides in the FG with snow on top. Bravo. Voted.
Yea, the first one was one of those 'holy crap' images. I don't care for the tilt on the third image, but voting as feature thread for the first image.
Thanks for bringing it up, I fixed the unintended tilt in the last image.

3 stunning shots .. if I had to pick a favorite it would be #1. The snowy plateau as a FG works great aginst the backdrop of the canyon with these conditons and the embers of light are really beautiful.

Thank you, the ingredient were there on that and the execution was very enjoyable. The roads were covered in snow and we had a total solitude for these special moments.
