I have been trying to get better photos of some of our local sea ducks this winter. Getting these birds close to shore and in nice evening light is never easy. Here are a few of my favorite of the season so far. Hope you enjoy viewing as much as I did making the images.

As a long time Canon shooter the Nikon gear feels like cheating. Eapecially the 500 PF. You get great image quality and auto focus. Just up to the operator to make a beautiful shot.
These are stunning shots with a high degree of difficulty as well. I'd be very proud to have been able to captured these as well as you did :applause

All my gear was stolen while on vacation so it was easy to switch after I was reimbursed by insurance. The lens is so small and light and sharp that it is a dream to shoot with.
