This lighthouse has always been in my list to capture but I never got chance to be there, partly due to the polar vortex cold and partly because the walkway to the lighthouse was closed for renovation.

Yesterday was just the right day, and the sky, floating ice and sunset added that sprinkle of magic

.

Do let me know which of the below you like the most. Also I would be more than happy to have feedback/critics from my fellow FMers.

Great variety, and they�re all beautiful photos. To me, no. 1 is the best composition, followed by no.4.

I really like #1, I can feel the cold coming off the water, standing on that walkway.
What was your exposure times for these?

Thank you! Yes the arcs of bridge leading to the lighthouse adds to the composition.

Hi bmike-vt,
I was using 10-stop ND filter which slowered the exposure time to around 50 secs.

Hey Jeffrey,

If you are watching on a laptop just click on one of the pictures and it will display them fitting your monitor size. You can then use the arrow keys to navigate left and right and see all the pictures.
