I don't want to do this but it is time for me to sell my 400E. I bought it used last spring from Roberts Camera who listed it as Mint-. It was a floor model and only had one camera mounted to it before it got to me, making it a grand total of two now. I only put about 200 frames through the lens and everything is in perfect working order. Focusing is lightning fast with no squeaks and the glass on both ends is immaculate, no scratches, fungus or dust visible inside the lens. I cleaned it after each use (it never needed much) and stored it in the Think Tank bag whenever it was not being used. I only used it in warm and dry conditions. Absolutely zero exposure to rain, snow, etc. Only points of wear on the lens is on one edge of the name plate and where the hood attaches. The hood also has a few marks but they are very shallow and cannot be felt with your finger.

I'm going to hate to see this lens go because it's without a doubt the best lens I've ever touched. Every time I used it and looked at the photos I could not believe how good the photos look; unbelievably sharp and clear and no processing needed for realistic colors. This lens is truly on a different level. I tried to make accommodations for it but it is not a good fit for my needs so it needs to go.
Only those who are experiencing weather colder than Antarctica and having antifreeze freeze on their windshield this morning can make Polar Vortex jokes
What a beautiful beast. All the best with the sale
I am very interested in this lens. I read nothing but great reviews. I'm leaving Canon behind and making the switch. All my friends tell me I won't be sorry. Canon very seldom satisfies my desire for sharp crisp images. I would love to see some wildlife shots if possible. Birds, Elk, Deer, Moose etc... I'm ready to buy. Just want to review some photo. Thank you
