08 - Mink are seldom seen here and when I do come upon one, it rarely stops long enough for a photo.
09 - I like how small the pink feet are and how small they are in relation to the bill. Glad my bill is not that large in relation to my feet. :D
10 - I thought this turned out well. It captured a tentative moment when the fawn was not sure if it would meet with aggression from the buck. Two of these young bucks were following a doe, so the bucks are at that age where they chase smaller deer.
11 - Poor Koi being on the bottom of the food chain. With their eyes always remaining open, you wonder if they are in shock and feel no pain, and at what point do they die while being chomped by the otter.
12 - Not often I taken insect photos, but it was interesting watching this caterpillar ponder where to go next.
13 - My best shot so far of salmon spawning.
14 - I just like the environment of the mossy fir branches. That particular fir tree is gigantic.

Great set Tony! I can see why they are your favorites. Those hummingbirds crack me up. Hopefully 2019 will bring some more great opportunities for you.

It's easy to see why these images would come to the top of your list. They are all excellent. I like the kestrel, merlin and the two hummers the best. The first two are very difficult shots and the hummers pose is highly unusual and very amusing.
