Would you mind sharing how you traveled with all your camera gear? Did you check in some of them? What bag/box did you use to transport your gear?

I use a thinktank airport accelerator bag, it is big enough to carry my 600, 100-400, two camera bodies with their battery grips, binoculares, 1.4X and 2X tele converters and a back up SSD. I check my tripod and flash.
Nicely done. Ecuador is a target-rich environment. The downside is often the lack of light in the cloud forest - especially for the Cock of the Rock at dawn. Did you have to use a high ISO on some of these. If so, you handled the noise very well.

Greg,
You are right about the COTR lek being dark in the afternoon but it is even worse in the morning. I typically use ISO 1600 with my 5DIV as my go-to ISO but I am not shy to go up to ISO 3200 If I need to. For these images ISO 1600 is the standard and I use a sturdy tripod plus low shutter speeds but I have been shooting hand held more and more these days, thanks of course to IS!
