This summer I spent a week in Central India with Subrat (for a few days) and a couple days by myself.
Hope you enjoy the variety of this ecosystem that revolves around tigers.

1 -Madhu - the daughter of Madhuri - I was happy to see her, she was not

2- Langurs are the epitome of pre- homo sapiens - you can tell why

3- Pied cuckoo - I have always heard these in the dense growth - lucky to catch one

4- Dholes - (wild dog) are pack hunters and this one is focused on something..

5- wild boar - this one had so much personality. they have been know to kill humans as well.

6 - majestic gaur - huge in size and bad tempered most times

7- Oriental Honey Buzzard (I think) very lovely eyes

8 - fish eagle (I think) a first for me.

9 - eye contact with a cub hiding from me - this one is for you Morris

10 - eye contact with a female

11- eye contact with Maya's cubs

12 - wanted to give you an idea of how thick the undergrowth is

13- Sloth bear

14 - Flehman's response - Chotti Tara's sub adult - we met again after almost 2 years

15 - Maya the good mother - a documentary is being made by BBC and others on her by a famous wild life cinematographer Nalla Muthu

16- Maya cub #2 in the undergrowth - very short sighting.

KD - WOW - These are amazing, Madhu (1st image) is stunning and they just kept getting better. I'm kinda at a loss for words, all I can do is stare at them. Did I say WOW yet. (Think I better put my camera equipment away and take up golf after viewing these) Fantastic work!!!

Fantastic set, KD! Especially love Maya's pose in #15. Also 9, 10, and 11. The detail on the langur is awesome.

Fantastic set KD. All so enjoyable but I really love the cubs in the underbrush in 12 and 16.

I feel the same way when I see your pics, Greg.
thanks so much for the comment and the viewing. Getting to see tigers in the wild is just amazing and to see the bio-diversity is a blessing indeed. Who know for how long we and our children will get to see these amazing creatures and nature.

thanks so much Joshua. You are absolutely right. I was very lucky this time around to see so much fauna in one NP. I will surely spend more time there once I retire, hopefully in near future.
