It's hard to follow Henrik's thread, especially as it was chosen as the "Feature" but I recently had the chance to join him on a trip to a remote destination in British Columbia, Canada known for its population of grizzly bears. We stayed for 3 nights and had incredible opportunities - fog, mist, snow, fall colours, the whole bit.
Hopefully everybody isn't all "beared" out at this point - I am only going to post my favourite 4 photos that I think are the most unique but there are many more on my Instagram if one was interested: https://www.instagram.com/markuhlmann/
I think we can bear a few more great images. These are all excellent, but that last shot in the fog is superb. You caught them is the right pose with light breaking through just the right amount and the background shrouded in a soft fog. Beautiful!
Thank you all for the kind words - it was a pretty special place, the photos just about took themselves. Except the snow... my first time shooting in the snow, and the combination of a rain cover, a small boat, dark ambient light, and autofocus going haywire on the snow... yikes. Very fortunate that photo turned out as I had a few more in the sequence that did not!
