The lens looks reasonably good for astro . Still hoping for a direct comparison with the Loxia 25 in different scenarios. May have to wait until a few more esteemed FMers get their hands on this fast 24.

I have neither but I was under the impression that the Lox21 was the golden horse (is that an expression..?) Anyway,I thought it was everyone's favorite & simply amazing for landscapes. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

size, weight, focal length, and sunstars, the loxia advantage. That 2 stop advantage for only 100g penalty on the GM...... that's too hard to overlook, I'de get the 24 and simply build my kit around that
