An informal, unscientific comparison to satisfy my curiosity. Much is as I suspected. All quite capable of producing thrilling colors and dreamy bokeh. Some of the all time greats in glass. Next session will include the Leica and Mamiya 67 masterpieces as well. Detail is amazing, these are reduced in size by 4.5 times from 8256 pixels along the horizontal to 1800.

Anyone try the Voigtlander M 40/1.2 yet?
Too bad, no longer have that lens. I just prefer 50lux ASPH under most condition even 40mm might be slightly sharper cross frame at infinity before f5.6 on MP240.
I personally never thought I can accept Mirrorless this quick after multiple try. This is totally unexpected Look forward to their next lenses next year.

Here is one from 70-200f4 with FTZ.
A frame format often seen in Chinese traditional painting and I like it here though it might be hard to view on internet. Z7's file is incredible under this condition. Original has stunning detail

Excellent pics joakim! Looks so tranquil! My Z7 came today, waiting for the adapters so I can use it!
What adapter did you use for the LTM lenses ( I have a few) and do you recommend it?

Just read a preliminary blurb by DPR about Z6 image quality and noted it has an AA filter, whereas the Z7 does not. Wondering how this might affect image quality with rangefinder lenses, given the inevitably thicker sensor stack that will result with the AA filter...? Anyone planning to get a Z6 to use with adapted lenses?

I was planning to as long as it played as well with M lenses as the z7. This isn’t very promising. Please can you provide a link to the article.

I am not sure it is inevitable that the sensor stack will be thicker with an AA filter. As I understand it with the D810 (or was it D800) Nikon made the sensor stack the same thickness with and without an AA filter. When it did not have an AA filter it just had clear glass of the same thickness as the AA filter. It is possible they did the same thing with the Z7 and Z6. The 1.1mm sensor stack of the Z7 might include some clear glass that is the same thickness as the AA filter in the Z6.

Yea what Steve said. They’ll keep stack thickness consistent to keep native lens performance consistent, otherwise wide angles in particular would suffer greatly.

I have a few too, for Leica M I like Voigtlander best but with the M-adapter on the Z7 I haven't found any difference (yet).

Ultra wide. All had some bluish cast on the side and vignetting. I didn't use any special tool for removing the cast, only some desaturation of blue in CameraRaw.
On a personal note, it was both easier and more fun to use the (tilted) LCD than the view finder when composing with such wide lenses.
