Wow, I was just looking on B&H a day ago and didn't see that. Congrats!Too late for me - I grabbed a new one at the local pro shop yesterday trading in some unused gear for it.
I'll do some test shots in a couple of hours. 1.4xTC arrives today from Amazon.

First handful of images from the 100-400GM. 1.4xTC came too late today to do anything with it.

Rising moon through low clouds.
100-400GM + 1.4xTC
Hand-held . . . IBIS + OIS on this lens is outstanding and I was particularly steady.

With the 1.4tc, the magnification ratio is about 1:2, correct?

This shot was also hand held. I thought the shutter speed was 1/130, but it was actually 1/13

This is the last image captured from last evening. Some additional 10-15 minutes would have been sufficient to show more city lights but the park rangers literally chased us away as the park was closing down and was about to be locked.

Nice one Tony....you should make an album of that same shot with all the different camera/lens combos you've taken it with over the years....I know you have similar ones with just about everything
