Great series Gregg! I also just started digging deeper into the Eastern Sierra this year and, well, I'm addicted. I like to think that the effort to get to some of these lakes are great enough to keep the careless visitors away. At least I hope...
(For anyone curious, these are right on the beaten track, four to seven miles from the trailhead. In #3 there are usually some tents in the way. I disagree with your policy, since it would be better if more people went out to these beautiful places, but I won't name them here.)

None of them are 4 miles from the trail head, more like 7 and 8 miles. Google is indexing and caching this website and eventually this info is available to the whole world via simple google search. I’m trying to avoid over-exposure of these places. They can be found anyway, I know that but if someone from this forum wants to know where they are I'd prefer a PM message than a global exposure of the place. That’s all!
Gregg, I say keep exploring so that folks who can't do some serious hiking can enjoy and appreciate the views thru your lens. Great set but #1 is just stunning! Voted👍
Stunning set of images; the Sierras never disappoint! and THANK YOU for encouraging other photographers to get back to what the outdoors are REALLY all about- exploring places for yourself, and seeing what you can find with your own two eyes throughout your lifetime, ...instead of being handed every epic location on a silver platter for you to "bag" the "trophy" shot.
Indeed, I am all in favor of others getting out there and exploring, and among friends or even seemingly respectful individuals who send a PM, I'm happy to share specific locations. But the internet has absolutely turned sour thanks to the social media "selfie" attitude towards outdoor adventures and the selfish, disrespectful FEW who ruin it for everyone else.
