You sure were able to get some smooth bg, Karl and that is creating a pleasing isolation of the birds. Clarity and clean detail are other two aspects that comes to my mind, while behavior is the winning element of the first two. Nice job.

Great shots Karl. I'm liking #3 for its simple esthetics. Also liking the first two for the action portrayed...I always like seeing the yellow mouths of the young swallows.

Beautiful shots, Karl. I pick the first 2 as my favorite; this kind of feeding behavior is not easy to find with the nice perch and background.

the first 2 are amazing in very possible way, the 3rd and the fourth are great, but 1 and 2 are over the top. thanks for showing newbies like me how it is done. voted
