I recently posted a pic titled The trail to Laguna Succia, which was a nasty hike but with a great beginning. I thought at least I should post a pic at destination!
Dave - I like this a lot. Well balanced in the foreground elements - and with the clouds - the mountain balances too. Been thinking it would have been nice to see Fitz Roy during our visit this evening - but starting to appreciate the fact that the mountain from this vantage is too far right. In the end - we lucked out - or at least that's what I'm going to keep telling myself when I think back about what a pain in the ass it was to get there!

Bravo! Such a lovely image! Your tonal palette is just so right.
Thanks for the feedback and glad you like it. Its so tempting to dial back the color when its so intense!

I keep saying to myself, "Must not look at plane tickets to Chile" After looking at images like this, I think I am likely to fail!
Beautiful image! What a fantastic place. I like this better than the first images at the beginning of the trail.
Ryan
Well Ryan - I said this was a once in a lifetime trip - but now I've done this twice and am even contemplating doing it "just one more time"! All I can say is if you put Patagonia on your list and enjoy magnificent landscape then you won't regret it!

Okay - Todd. Maybe one more time . . . with backpacks! And glad you like the pic!

I like a lot how it is composed and the scenery looks gorgeous
Thanks. I think I tried 12-28mm and decided keeping it tight at 28mm worked best.

Wild nature at its best; a bit threatening looking mountains and glacier. I like it a lot.
Wild is an understatement! No trail - lots of boulder hopping and side-hilling skree and then to top it off lots of wind with gusts hitting 60+ mph. More than once I got slammed off my feet!
