I don't see any difference in moon shot's with the TC14 or TC17

with this crop I got 1.75MP more with the 1.7 over the 1.4

There is a visible, but not clearly signficant difference, the 1.7 being more detailed.
As far as how this translates at least to my daily use, which is wildlife, I would refer to Arbitrage's recent comparisons.

I'm still waiting for some decent snow in East/Central MN... I missed the heavy snow when I took a trip north, and we've got nothing be freezing drizzle and overcast conditions as of late. While not blessed with beautiful Floridian light or the mounds of white fluff, I can still manage to sleuth out a few things to photograph...
