Have had the Z6 on the 500PF to see if I could get anything decent. I like the files out of the camera even if the AF isn't like the D500. Here a few from the other day. The Great Gray I include reluctantly after seeing the other GGOW a couple pages back. Those are wow images. But anytime you see a Great Gray Owl it's a good day.
Eastern Phoebe (Sayornis phoebe). By this date, I thought it would have left the feeder area (the suet cage) in favor of an insect diet. But it was chilly and windy with light snow today.

The more I use the 500pf, the more relunctant I am to sell it and use the big guns. (though, the pf has limits under certain situations where I would still pick the f/4s or f/2.8s instead)
Solitary cranes have been feeding in open fields as of late. While I prefer to shoot my wildlife in dramatic light, I can't stop myself from making images of this species when the opportunity exists. Their form and plumage is a treat for tired eyes during a mid spring day.

Accidentally flipped the ISO to 6400... still kicking myself. Not a good ISO for the D500. Go Topaz Clear!

Very nice, Bruce - regardless of light and ISO.
Topaz rocks!
Thank you very much. I agree with your sentiments about the Topaz Ai products. They have allowed me to shoot my D500's at iso's that I would have never used in the past. I have discovered that one needs to play with the Ai Clear settings in the DeNoise program, as this often produces a nicer image at high iso than does the standard denoise algorithm.
I am hoping to do some bear photography at the end of the month (if our state social distancing orders allow), this area often has very poor light. I will definitely be leveraging the Topaz DeNoise Ai, as tripods are not very usable in the area I am intending to go.
