District Camera rocks (DC/VA stores), I bought a lot of gears from them in the past. My copy of the lens arrived on Thursday, 04Apr19, waited for 3 months. Very nice and helpful sales staff.
Shipping the D850+500PF and 1.4TC to Nikon this week.
Sensor clean/mirror clean and I'm asking them to do the alignment while
it is there. Why not I think the D850+500PF will be going to Alaska in a few months
and I want it to be best it can be.
Only thing i think the 200/500 is better with is the minimal focus distance, 2.2meters VS 3.0meter on the pf
I could not get closer and it is cropped a little
Still thoo .... for a super tele having the option to make this kind of shots AND shooting distance birds of prey al in one while making a nice long walk with lightweight stuff is awsum
Following the forum for last few months and is going out of patience to get the lens in hand. Finally got one from my local distributor day before yesterday. Not got any time to go to the field. First few test shot only from backyard.
