Great color,exposure and composition. The reflection in her eyes of the people and sky and what ever else that is is throwing me off a little. I'd like to see it with either a more distinct/identifiable reflection or the more traditional iris-pupil-catch light.
@ Marty: this was done in all natural light in the forest adjacent to the beach, so that is my dark figure in her eyes central with the beautiful beach in the background
The face and eyes are beautifully captured. But there are two things that detract from the image. One, the foreground elements are neither sharp nor sufficiently out of focus. Second is the white & bright blob in that not-sufficiently-out-of-focus foreground that competes for attention.
I'm glad you like the image. The amount of depth of field was intentional. If the flower bouquet were any more out of focus, it would have rendered it unrecognizable, any sharper and it would have detracted from her beautiful eyes.
