So the return window starts as soon as your offer is accepted.
Not only that, but with cameras, they have a very restrictive policy: "Cameras with shutter counters over 200, or over 60 minutes of use (video)", so that means you have less than one day if you really want to test your purchase! (Especially if your camera shoots at 6+ frames a second!)

It happened to me too. Greentoe did not even contact me to let me know my purchase will be delayed due to weather. I was annoyed to constantly see "pending shipment" in my Greentoe account for several days.

My vendor finally shipped yesterday. They called me to tell me it was on the way, and they upgraded me to next day shipping for free. The lady apologized for not shipping Monday before the storm hit. I guess they were busy last Monday.

My 135mm is backordered and I received this major vendors Email notifying me, as well as weekly confirmation and explanation of the backup. Also, within the text is the vendors assurance that my card won't be charged until the item ship, I can cancel prior to item shipping and the same 30 return policy given when I order directly.

Put in an offer for $2700 and got a counter-offer on a brand new A7R III for $2849 last week. Jumped on it.
Received it today and I'm happy as a peach. Printed invoice was in the box from the retailer as if I had bought it new straight from them. USA model with warranty and this retailer was an authorized Sony dealer.
I was originally planning on buying the new A7 III as a back-up 2nd body to my current A7R III but with such a good deal on a new A7R III, I figured what's a better backup to an A7R III than another A7R III. So I cancelled my A7 III pre-order and now have to "settle" with two A7R III bodies
Greentoe is legit. I recommended them to a friend who went ahead and put in an offer on a Batis 135mm which he received a counter-offer on for $1249. Wow what a deal! (makes me sad I paid the full price of $2k for mine just less than a year ago)

Greentoe, specifically Andrew at Greentoe, have been very quick to respond to my inquiries regarding order status and other questions. Really happy with the helpful service from their personnel...

I recently bought an A7RIII through Greentoe. The process was easy and I saved quite a bit of money (I paid $2849 or thereabout, I forgot the exact price but it was a fine deal) . The vendor shipped the camera immediately and it was really just the way it should be.

Received my a7riii a few days ago...outside of being charged instantly but about a week delay, it went smooth. My offer of $2,700 was accepted. I initially received a counter for $2,850, then $2,800...then finally my offer was accepted.
I know some people have posted their personal referral link but I highly recommend going through the FM link so he gets the credit as I would not have even thought about it if I didn't see it on this site.

Yeah, don't rush man. Should still be able to get it for closer to 1200$. And keep in mind, several people's purchases through Greentoe are on a 2-3 week backorder, so be prepared for that too, just in case.

That's exactly what happened to me. I got an accepted offer at $1199 if I agreed to wait 2-4 weeks for stock to arrive. No problem. Found out today that the retailer is Adorama. So now I wait. I already have an invoice.

With two little kids, I do not feel that I have the room/use for manual lenses. Might change my mind in 10 years or so
But I DID jump on the Batis 135 deal for 1200$. And I already received it a few days back, even went out with the family for some scooter riding pictures. Although it was pretty late in the evening with almost no sun.
I think that I saw a post of someone who got a bid accepted in the evening of the same day (as I got mine accepted), and that they already ran out of stock at that point. So I think I might've been one of the last ones to get an in-stock lens
