p.2 #1If you have used Greentoe to purchase gear....

One thing that a lot of people don't realize is that you can use cashbacks sites on some of the large camera stores that will sometimes give you as much in cashback as the discount you could get at GT, at least on newer lenses where GT is typically able to discount less.I am not sure what you mean by cashback sites. Can you elaborate?
I think he means Amazon that will give you cash back if you own their department store card.

So, 2-5% less than some current mail order, that seems to match my experience. I wonder if they discount more if you bundle purchases?

You can order only 1 item at a time so bundling is out of the question.

I inquired about bundling and was told: "when you place multiple offers at the same time, our retailers do see it and we'll reply back with the bundle price if there happens to be a better deal on it if you buy them together, otherwise we'll send you prices back on each item."

What’s the current FE 24-105mm f4 price on GT?
Common sense can be used here. Popular lenses in short supply are not going to give you much price relief. The more you want it, the less you save. Top lenses in good supply, like the 85mm GM ..Maybe 5-10% off. I'm curious how things work when there is a manufacturer promotion.

I tried to use Greentoe to buy my A9, but $4,000 was the best offer they gave me. I bought a new one here on the BS board for $3,500. I think Greentoe is great, but buying from people here who have a solid track record can be at least as good of a deal and sometimes even better.
