Dude....sorry....I don't read every day! Is there a time limit on when you can reply to stuff ? I reply as I go along, I don't read everything and then go back and reply, which maybe I should from now on. Sorry for bringing it up either way.
I use a Western Digital My Book for back up storage. It's 500GB and it's very easy to use and very portable as well.
I too have two WD Mybooks....500 gig each...they have been rock solid....
Wow! You guys sure can cover a lot of subjects in one afternoon!
If you guys are wanting to do some macro, we need to head down to Callaway Gardens. I absolutely LOVE going down there to do butterflies and lady bugs I have very little experience with it, but would love to go do it again!
Callaway also has the Birds of Prey show which is a lot of fun for practicing tracking!
Chris and Stacy...I am enjoying the photos! Keep them coming! I have never had the opportunity to try shooting at a track, but it sure looks like fun! I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle at some point, too. My only short experience was not nearly as fun as it should have been
Jon U...I often find that my dog is more inclined to let me practice on her! I love the DOF in the picture of your pooch. Is that the puppy you got just a few months ago? If it is, she sure has grown! Also, thanks for the comments on the pic of Ben. I was trying out my new 18-200 since I had not really had a chance to shoot with it yet. I think it is going to work out great for an all-purpose, Swiss army knife type lens.
Hi guys...I need a little help with something. Some friends asked me to do some family pics. As you know, that is not my thing! I can set up on a sports field and let the action come to me, but creating poses, etc is not my cup of tea. I need you guys to take a look at this set and let me know what I need to do with them before I present them to our friends. I already see a light pole that needs to be cloned out. There is also one with some white overspray on the grass from a recent paint job. Any ideas on how to make that less noticeable would be appreciated. My PS skills are fairly limited.
Thanks in advance...I look forward to your suggestions!
If those pictures represent and area that "isn't your thing" then I would hate to see what you could do if it were your thing. Man...I would love to have a set like that in my port. These people will be very happy with these. Are these done with the new gear? Man-o-man I love the colors and I think your poses work out very well.
Only thing that caught my eye was the pole that you pointed out already.
Tracey, the album does look good. Like you said, there's some stuff here and there to touch up, but don't be oversensitive about them. Confidence is a good thing - they're much better than anyone could do with a point and shoot, and even though you may look at them and go "I have so much to learn" - you can still learn while doing. For what it's worth, I think they came out quite well.
